Hope is an essential part of life. Like you, I could fill books with stories of people who have lost hope. I know my stories would be included, how about you? You might be in this place as you're read this. Most of us can identify a time when we lost hope, some more dire than others.
The good news is that I could also fill books with stories of God meeting them in their hopelessness, including me, with real tangible hope. He may have met your need for hope through family, friends, prayer, unexpected circumstances changed, or through God talking to you through His Word. There are so many ways God comforts and provides for us that we don't realize it is God's loving work in our lives.
The Bible is filled with hope.
Hope for each day, hope for tomorrow, and hope for eternity.

Hi! I'm Bethany Sunny, and I am
so happy you are here.
My mission is to bring women in all walks of life, no matter what they believe, to God's Word for the answers their soul is longing to hear.
The Bible is God’s gift to humans with the theme of God’s relationship with people. It answers our most profound questions about life (where I come from, why am I here, who am I, and where am I going).
It is God’s word written through men inspired by the Holy Spirit. I love that God values us so much that He allows us to be part of His plan. He didn’t just make the Bible appear, but He used ordinary people, each with their own personalities and backgrounds, to write His message to us. The Old Testament and New Testament are interwoven with God’s love, grace, mercy, justice, and His gift of reconciling us back to Him through the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 3:12 says that the Bible is “living” and “active.” In Luke 8:11, talking about the parable of the Sower, Jesus says, “The seed is the word of God.” A seed has life and can create, but it must be planted in fertile soil. Here the seed, the Word of God, is planted in the fertile soil, the heart of the believer, and produces Christlikeness.
Hebrews 3:12 also states that the Bible is active, meaning “effectual, powerful.” When you read and study the Bible, it transforms your life.
I have created She Needs Hope to bring the living power of God's Word to women so they can find the hope and rest God is eager to give them.

Nope! You do not have to believe to join. We would love to have you study the Bible with us. All we ask is that you come to learn and be kind to others. If it ends up not being a good fit for you, you can cancel your membership at any time.
No, we do not use Facebook for members. Our community is snuggled within the membership area. Awesome, right?
There are many great translations available today. Click here for more information about Bible versions. My preferred versions are King James Version [KJV], International Standard Version [ISV], and the Christian Standard Bible [CSB].
The ISV and CSB are the more modern-language translations that stay true to the literal Hebrew and Greek text as possible.
The ISV has been stated as, "“Contemporary.” “Accurate.” “Distinct.” Scholars are already calling the International Standard Version (ISV 2.0) “the King James Bible for our time.”
Because the ISV is so large, it currently is only available electronically (online and eReaders), therefore I have added CBS version as many people regularly use this translation. I use the website Biblegateway to use read the ISV translation.
I place the abbreviation of each scripture used for ease of use for easy reference.
